At ReserveMe we respect your info. This is a relaxed summary of how we handle data, fully compliant with POPIA.

Who we are

ReserveMe is run from South Africa. Servers are only in RSA. We act as an operator for the platform. Businesses using us are the main data controllers for their customer info.

What we collect

- From customers: name, email, phone, booking details, form answers, proof of payment uploads.
- From businesses: account info, contact details, usage data.
- Technical: IP, browser info for security.

How we use it

To run the service, send booking/payment emails, let businesses manage their data, keep the site secure. We don’t sell your data.

Sharing

Only with PayFast for payments (their rules apply) and our hosting (all in RSA). Businesses get their own customer data.

Security and keeping data

We use good security. We keep records as long as needed by law (often 5+ years for money stuff) or while your account is active.

Your rights

You can ask to see, fix, or delete your data (where allowed). Email hello@reserveme.co.za with “POPIA” in the subject. You can also complain to the Information Regulator.

Changes
